VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES AT HOPE HOUSE, INC.

Teaching computer skills
Tutoring women in GED preparation
Providing cooking or crafts classes
Household repair/maintenance
Helping women prepare resumes
Teaching a budgeting class 6-8 weeks, 1 hour/week on Tuesdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m. (using MoneySmart curriculum)
Landscaping
Picking up donations when a truck is needed
Providing transportation to women for appointments or interviews
Taking small groups of women out for fun activities like bowling
Getting donations of movie, theater, event tickets, passes to bowling, skating, etc.
Providing child care on 1^st & 3^rd Saturday mornings (8:30 – 10:00)
Organizing special events like a Christmas party for the residents & families, Easter baskets, etc.

There are many other opportunities available, large and small and on-going or one-time.
