The Program
The Hope House program is based on 12-Step recovery and each resident is expected to attend 12-Step meetings, obtain a sponsor, and work through at least the first six Steps. In addition to these requirements, residents must obtain employment and learn to manage their finances to become self-sufficient. Other goals are made part of each individual's Treatment Plan according to her unique needs.
When admitted to Hope House, a client is placed on Probation level for at least 30 days. After meeting the requirements, she will move to Level 1 and, according to her pace of achievement, will move through the levels to Level 4 before successful discharge. This process normally takes 6-8 months.
